CARDHU is an exciting and extraordinary new young sire from Frontline and Leachman Erica 6267, the $53,000 maternal sister of Right Time. CARDHU was the heaviest weaning calf in the 2002 calf crop at 980# /adj. 850# and continued to grow to a phenomenal 1525# /adj. 1511# at a year recording a gain ratio of 121. CARDHU recorded an IMF ratio of 111 and a REA of 14.1/ 100 ratio. CARDHU's dam records 36 calves with an ultrasound record of 101 for UIMF and 102 for UREA. We have several full sisters in production and they are awesome two-year old cows. We have never produced a yearling bull with more early growth, maternal and carcass potential. His balance of all his EPDs for the growth traits as well as carcass balance make him a very exciting young sire to sample for next year's calf crop. He will be used on a cross section of cows in our program. We look for him to work well on New Design, EXT, Right Time, Ambush and Precision daughters.
